BeFC identified as a start-up of interest by prestigious academic journal, Nature (2020)

For its inaugural Spinoff Prize, Nature sought out the most exciting science-based companies to have emerged from academia in the past three years. BeFC is delighted to announce that the Nature Journal has accredited BeFC as “one to watch” for 2020.

BeFC’s paper fuel cell technology, based on the enzymatic conversion of glucose and oxygen to produce electricity, has been highlighted as a viable means of addressing the worldwide challenges of environmental impact and sustainability.
