UNWTO welcomes BeFC in Madrid, Spain for the Final event.

As a winner of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Global Startup Competition, BeFC has been identified as a top innovator with solutions to achieve sustainability through tourism.

Transforming tourism is the main purpose of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) in 2021 and for the years to come, but this change has to be done in a sustainable and eco-friendly way.


To reach this goal, startups from around the world have been recognized for their unique contributions to sustainable and responsible tourism in the UNWTO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Global Startup Competition.


Among 10,000 initial proposals BeFC emerged in the list of the 25 winners of the SDGs Global Startup Competition in the category "affordable and clean energy" along with Enexor BioEnergy and Swimsol.


As a winner of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Global Startup Competition, BeFC has been identified as a top innovator with solutions to achieve sustainability through tourism. BeFC was selected from 10,000 participants in 138 countries, and will pitch to the global audience in Madrid, Spain.
